The manga does a very good job of portraying the horrid environment. The art of this manga is absolutely crisp you can clearly see the amount of work that went into the creation of each and every page. HOTD is quite popular among the manga community and is seen as one of the best works of Daisuke. However, the production of this manga stopped as the creator Daisuke Satou died in 2017. Highschool of the Dead manga started its production all the way back in 2006. Overall, this anime is very entertaining! Highschool of the Dead Manga: Highschool of the Dead is a Japanese manga series written by Daisuke Satou and illustrated by Shouji Satou. The fanservice is also done right and whilst it can be overdone at times, it still does not feel very overwhelming. The animation of this anime is also very fluid. The sound-tracks are also very good and fit the setting of the show quite well. Even after all these years, the art style of the first season seems quite fresh. Studio Madhouse has done an incredible job with this anime! The art style is very unique and modernized. The anime version of this series is produced by the same studio that is behind the many shows, “Death Note”, “ No Game No Life”, “ Overlord”, and “ Claymore”.
